A vintage and very rare mechanical watch ETANCHE from Germany, that was approximately produced in 1940s. Such watches were supplied to the German army and were one of the most coveted trophies for the Red Army. Vintage retro watch, about 80 years old. Small black dial that was very typical for a military style of 1940s. On the caseback there's a number and the letters "DH" (Deutsches Heer), that means it was the official Wehrmaht supply and the watch was intended for ground forces.

The number "85" under the brand name can mean a batch number or, probably, the watch number in a batch; perhaps, in those times the watches were delivered to subdivision with numbers not to confuse (1 box had 100 pieces). Separate second hand at 6 o'clock. TESTED by a professional master. For its age (near 80 years old) the watch is in good condition. The mechanism was tested - it runs well and keeps time accurately.
