RARE Late WWII German 6x30 Bakelite Dienstglas Binoculars CXN WW2 Original 1944

  
A very scarce original late-war example of the 6x30 Dienstglas , produced from speckled red/brown coloured Bakelite. This is a completely untouched set, and comes complete as it was issued with the correct model of leather neck strap & rubber ocular cover. These fittings were unique to Bakelite 6x30 and are very seldom seen on surviving examples today! Fortunately, the'Dienstglas' military designation remains intact to the right hand prism plate, alongside the'cxn' maker code on the opposite side - denoting manufacture by. Whilst remaining somewhat usable as is, this pair would certainly benefit from an internal clean/service if full functionality is desired - due to the presence of internal dust/debris etc. They still retain the H/6400 Strichplatte rangefinder scale in the right-hand side. Overall, a lovely example of a highly desirable late-war WWII German binocular!
