Authentic WW2 German Heer Army M35 helmet

  
This is an authentic WW2German Heer Army M35 helmet. At least, I think it is an M35. It hasrolled edges and appears to be rivets in the holes. It is tough to readthe stamped markings. It looks like the left side marking may show size 66maybe (see pic). Stamped markings on theback appear to read 497 (see pic). Overall, it is in OKcondition. There is some pitting in the shell.

The liner is indecent shape. The chin strap is dryrotting and certainly shows age. These military itemsbelonged to my deceased father.
