This watch is powered by Glycines own the AS-1130 17 jewel movement. This movement was the standard movement found in all infantry watches of the German army at this time. This example has been well preserved and. Still has most of its original nickel on brass plating which is very rare in these watches.
It is still running and keeping good time, video attached of the running movement. As you can see the "works" are in lovely clean condition with no traces of moisture having entered the case which is very common on these unsealed screw back cases. Considering this watch survived use in WW2 & is now over 80 years old its in good condition. Faults: wear to the nickel plate with brass showing through, flake of lume missing on the hour hand. Wear to winder from use. I'm slimming down my watch collection & these watches in running condition are getting rarer year by year.
