Junghans J30D 22127 WWII German Army 8-day dashboard clock with original case

  

Beautiful old German clock with classic black dial, large luminous arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6, and stainless steel case. A very attractive piece for collectors of automobilia, aviation, military-style instruments, or vintage dashboard clocks.

Model / marking: J30D 22127. Type: dashboard / panel clock. Dial: black dial with luminous numerals. 71.1 mm (as I measured with my caliper). Rear / inside marked: 22127. Visible signs of age, wear, scratches, and patina. Dial shows age-related wear and also some of the lume on the numerals was stabilized.

Case has some cosmetic wear from age and use but overall great condition, no major marks I would say. The case looks good and the glass has some finer marks, no major damage or breaks. Please inspect all photos carefully for exact condition. I did wind the watch and it ran for a really long while but it ran too fast so I adjusted the balance Advance to less.

The watch is still running a little fast but the A/R setting is past the middle so there is room for finer adjustments. A very nice original Junghans clock with great display appeal.
