This is an ORIGINAL WWII German splinter pattern reversible camouflage parka, albeit in relic condition with innumerable field repairs, rips, missing the hood and retaining only 3 original pebble buttons. Per the prior owner this parka was captured from an Army Group Center soldier in the Kurland pocket and saved for years by a Russian farmer. Very telling artifact of the realities of war on the eastern front. Parka appears to be a smaller size and would be equivalent of about a modern 32 in my opinion. It has been trimmed and patched in multiple areas.
This is not for someone who wants a mint piece obviously but is an honest, gritty reminder of the conditions the German and Russian soldiers were faced with. The item "ORIGINAL GERMAN WWII Splinter Pattern Parka Army Group Center Kurland RELIC Cond" is in sale since Thursday, December 24, 2020.
