Original WW2 German HRE Tropical Coconut Canteen With Early WWII Army Aluminum Cup

  

This is a beautiful WW2 German canteen is pristine condition! The canteen and leather harness/straps are made by Heinrich Ritter Esslingen (HRE) and both are also dated 1941. The canteen cup is made by Colsmann & Co, Werdohl (C&CW) and is dated 1939. The gentleman I bought this canteen from also stated that the vet that brought it back, fought in North Africa and Italy- he was a friend of my father who was a Sea bee in the Pacific.
