Post WW2 East German NVA DDR GDR Army M56 Helmet WW2 Style Liner & Camo Cover

  

For sale here is a great looking Post WW2 German Cold War Era Early M56 Helmet. The helmet is complete with early camo cover with veil, WW2 style 8 finger leather liner, and 5 point chinstrap harness. The helmet shows lots of use and wear, but displays very well.

There is quite a bit of paint loss to the shell, but this is all obscured by the early blumentarn camo cover. As a bonus, the helmet appears to be named, but i can't maker it out. All of the leather has some stiffness, but it is not brittle. The helmet currently wears like a 7 3/8. This is a great looking early helmet with a rare cover to boot.
