Serial number between D and H refers to a genuine Deutsches Heer issued service watch. What exactly is DH or Deutsches Heer? The German Army (German: Deutsches Heer) was and still is the land component of the armed forces of Germany. The WWII era German army was often misidentified in Anglo-American reports as the Wehrmacht, which in fact referred to the armed forces as a whole. The German word for army is actually Heer.
