World War Two WW2 German Army M35 Stahlhelm with Liner 1937 Dated ORIGINAL

  

Original WW2/prewar German M35 Stahlhelm w/ liner. There are no split pins or chinstrap, the leather is cracking and separating, and part of the liner band is separated. Helmet seems to be a size 66 shell, with a size 57 liner.

Original paint is visible inside the dome of the helmet shell. Markings on the skirt read "5156" and "08". " is on the opposite side surrounding the date "1937.
