WW II German Army Navy Air Force 6x30 BROWN BAKELITE BINOCULAR CASE V. RARE

  

The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6x30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7x50, 8x30, 10x50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issued to personnel on a limited basis. Made of brown bakelite most likely by Gustav Genschow u. AG, Lederwarenfabriken, Alstadt-Hachenburg, this 6x30 power binocular case is in VERY NICE used condition!

Retains all the original finish, with some slight marks and scratches due to the age. Various manufacture markings throughout, as well as a WaA Stamp on the leather strap at the reverse.

Dating around 1944, this is RARE mid/late-war color that you rarely find! Comes complete with the original leather straps on the side, however the leather is dry, so I would suggest re-conditioning them before use. Ould make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
