WW2 German Army Issue GEBIRGSJÄGER FIELD JACKET, Untouched Original. Rare Wehrmacht Mountain Troop Field Jacket of. With double breasted front, button-down slash pockets at the chest & pleated patch pockets at waist with rear waist belt. Typical zig-zag stitched under collar for stiffness (see pics). Button closure cuffs & collar; all original buttons throughout with one period replacement.

All original insignia to include wool embroidered Edelweiss Mountain troop patch on right sleeve and rayon Camo rank patch on left sleeve. Good large size as typically worn over uniform in the field; Chest flat: 22 inches (US44) / Sleeve length from shoulder to cuff23 inches / Length from collar to skirt: 33 inches.
