WW2 German Army Elite Uniform Helmet Cover Reversible Camo Camouflage WWII

Reversible cover cut from original WW2 German zeltbahn (tent canvas) with I was told original aluminum clips (just springs postwar) is this elite helmet cover, hand made. Showing lots of use and it's age but still in very good serviceable condition. Shown on a large size 66 M42 straight edge helmet model M42 (Helmet Shell Not Included). 3 Clips are each non-magnetic aluminum, both side clips still have full action movement, both springs still hold their spring. Back clip not as springy, all parts back there seem to be in-place though.

It is made out of what looks to be a thick cotton canvas which then has a printed camo pattern on both sides of it making it reversible spring-summer to fall-winter. Cover also has additional cloth loops sewn on it for adding foliage, twigs and leaves, to the helmet cover.

All look to be present and accounted for. There is also a reinforced (stitched) brim on the front of the cover that folds down over the brim of the helmet adding additional support. This unmarked cover hand made sewn from original German WWII tent canvas zeltbahn material post war. Fits Size 66 M42 straight edge helmet well, I don't know if this cover would fit larger Size 68 helmet, possibly a M35 or M40 Size 68 (don't know) with rolled edge but don't think an even larger profile straight edge Size 68 would fit the cover.
