WW2 German Army Tropical Rucksack Pack DAK Afrikakorps Südfront Italy Wehrmacht
Original WW2 German tropical rucksack. Worn and metal parts are oxidised, but still solid condition, no rotten canvas etc. Maker stamp visible, but not readable. The tropical rucksack was developed for the Afrikakorps in 1941, but production continued after the fall of Tunesia and were later issued to other fronts because of shortages (especially on the Südfront). They are slightly larger and more complex pattern than the late war large rucksacks, have a large metal hanger and lack the extra bottom d-rings for the a-frame or small assault rucksack.
