WWII German Army HEER General Visor Cap Wreath - Gold & Silver Bullion, Hand Embroidered. Original German World War II visor cap wreath for a HEER General officer. Measures 2 3/8" wide x 1 1/2" tall. Features a central cockade surrounded by an oval oak leaf wreath with acorns. Gold and silver bullion wire, hand-embroidered onto a dark green wool base.

Reverse side lined with ribbed black cotton cloth backing. Low excellent condition - minor age toning, possible mothing.

Worn on Schirmmütze (visor caps) by high-ranking officers in the German Army (Heer). The oak leaf motif symbolized strength and command, while the cockade represented national allegiance. Often paired with gold bullion chin cords and EREL Sonderklasse caps.
