WWII German Army Sentry Coat Overcoat With Hood

  
Sentry's overcoat with wool collar and cotton hood. 3 toggle button front, nice bakelite cuff buttons and horn collar buttons.

There are two tears on the left sleeve but they seem stable and have not ripped further in my possession. One tear at bottom hem.

No dates but some stamps on inner pockets. I was told this was taken by a soldier from the liberation of Buchenwald but stories are just that. Nice Major's insignia sewn on left sleeve. Could have been a former SS or Heer Officer that owned it. I will give rough measurements if required but I do not reccomend wearing this as old furs are fragile.
