WWII German MG aluminium storage tins boxes x2 WW2

  

Two original WWII German early-war MG boxes (empty). The first is finished in the original factory field grey, with subtle brown spray camouflage, and dated 1939. This one has numerous holes, perhaps as a result of it once being mounted, and is missing the latch handle.

It can still be opened without any issues though. The other box, dated 1938, has a reissue or later coat in a dark grey/black overpaint.
