WW2 WWII 1930s German Heer Army NCO Sword / Sabre by Anton Wingen Jr

  

This is a nice 1930s German Army NCO Sword / Sabre. The condition can be seen in the pictures however here is an additional rundown: The example measures 40.5 inches in length when measured from end to end w/ the scabbard on. The blade on its own is 34 inches. It is maker marked Anton Wingen Jr. At the base of the blade.

The company logo is on the blade as well in addition to / under the text. There are no additional markings anywhere on the blade / scabbard. The scabbard and blade are in decent condition. There is very minor wear to the scabbard and most of the paint is still intact.

Both screws are intact as well at the base of the scabbard. There is some wear to the wire on the handle as some of it has come loose. There is also one chip in the black bakelite on the handle grip as well. The photos capture all aspects of the sword.
