" translates to "You must save 5 Marks a week if you want to drive your own car! , referencing the Nazi-era savings scheme (Sparkarte) that allowed German workers to pre-pay for a people's car. Design Features: It is an oval, heavy enameled steel plate featuring black-and-white graphics of an early KdF-Wagen silhouette with stylized speed lines and mounting holes on the rusted, aged edges.
