German World War II Army HEER Silver Armored Tank Destruction Strip. Measures 3 5/8" wide by 1 3/16" tall. The front shows the profile of a Panzer IV tank mounted onto a flat silver bullion wire and cotton base. Has a black cotton machine embroidered strip along the top and the bottom borders.

Has a grey ribbed cotton backing. There is a rectangle plate in between the two pieces. The tank is die-struck stamped blued steel construction. This was awarded for a single-handed tank kill. It was to have been worn on the upper left sleeve of the combat uniform. UV test: negative glow, see photo. Please wait for the invoice after all auctions are completed.
