WWII Era German Modified Leather Holster for the US M1917. 45 cal Revolver - Very Nice Condition - RARE. Up for sale is a WWII Era German Modified Leather Holster for the US M1917. The holster is used, see photo's for Condition. The leather is soft and supple.

No cracks or crazing of the leather. The stitching is all intact and not fraying. This was probably a commercial holster originally, it was modified by adding a retention strap to secure the weapon. The holster has two vintage German Army Rank pins on the retention strap.
