WWII German RZM Leather Canteen Harness Strap & Aluminum Cap M6 20/34 Dated 1934

  

Pre-WWII German field canteen leather carrying harness complete with its original aluminum screw cap. RZM-marked field gear was issued to NSDAP paramilitary branches such as the Hitler Youth (HJ), SA, and SS, making it significantly harder to find than standard Wehrmacht-issue equipment.

Cap: Heavy aluminum threaded cap with knurled edge. Attached securely to the top leather loop. Harness: Original dark leather strap system with standard attachment button holes. Leather is complete but shows age-related surface wear, stiffness, and cracking. Hardware: Heavy iron spring snap hook (Karabinerhaken) present and functioning.

Shows natural age patina and surface oxidation as expected for a 1930s piece. The metal hardware and aluminum cap are solid. The leather is dry and stiff from age-would benefit from careful leather conditioning if desired, but left in original state for the collector.
