Sac à dos de cavalerie original de l'armée allemande de la Seconde Guerre mondiale M. 31 daté de 1940 et nommé
JUST ACQUIRED A GROUP OF ITEMS FROM A 1ST INFANTRY DIVISION VETERAN'S ESTATE IN LAWRENCE, KS. HE WAS PART OF 3RD BN AND A D-DAY LANDER. THIS GROUPING CONSISTS OF SEVERAL ITEMS WHICH I BELIEVE WERE FROM ONE INDIVIDUAL IN A KAVALLERIE UNIT. AMONG THEM A GASMASK, A VISOR CAP, A RAINCOAT, BOOTS WITH SPURS, A SADDLE, SOME HARNESS STRAPS, A BELT AND SOME OTHERS. ALSO A RATHER INTERESTING PAIR OF ITEMS OF HEADGEAR, UNRELATED TO THE CAVALRY GROUPING. THEY WILL BE LISTED SEPARATELY, UNFORTUNATELY SOME CANNOT BE LISTED DUE TO POLICY. THIS IS A NICE ORIGINAL GERMAN ARMY FIELD TORNISTER PACK DATED 1940, AND NAMED IN BACK. COMPLETE AS PICTURED, SANS THE TWO STRAP ENDS. THAT'S HOW IT CAME WITH THE REST OF THE EQUIPMENT IN THE GROUPING. AN AMAZING DISPLAY PIECE OF WARTIME GERMAN FIELD GEAR EAR TO COMPLETE ANY UNIFORM OR COLLECTION.
