Nice 1916 M1898 SOLINGEN butcher WWI Imperial German Army Bayonet Gewehr 98 k98

  
Up for sale honest German combat bayonet for Gewehr 98 and k98 rifle. Made in 1916 in Solingen. Army inspected with crown imperial proofs. Blade was not sharpened - very good condition.

Scabbard is original also with Army imperial stamp. There is small dent on scabbard - do not effecting anything - just part of bayonets history.

Bayonet comes with original leather frog - i do not see any markings on leather. There is some loose stitching on frog - still very good shape.

For sure witnessed drama of WWI - and likely was used also. Overall very nice piece - in great all original - unmolested condition.
