Vintage WW2 German Army-issue DH Minerva Gents Watch in Full Working Order

An original pre-owned used wristwatch dating all the way back to WW2. Expect to find some signs of wear and ageing. Tested and in full working order. Attached to an original vintage leather strap.

WW2 German Army-issue Minerva DH. A rare and very collectible c1942 WW2 German Army "DH" Military-issue Minerva wristwatch.

This watch has a really lovely patina to the original and untouched radium dial which is in superb condition. There are some signs of wear, but overall this watch is in excellent condition for its age - especially considering it was issued to for German Army use during WW2 and it is now almost 80 years old. It has been tested on a Timegraph diagnostics machine and is in excellent working order, running to an impressive accuracy within -9 seconds per day and showing a very healthy amplitude reading of 265. I have worn this watch myself and it winds and sets correctly and from a full wind holds its power reserve for over 30 hours.

The case measures 34mm width, excl crown and 18mm between the lugs. As is standard for military-issue watches it has fixed bars between the lugs and is attached to an old vintage black leather strap which itself shows plenty of signs of ageing. I suppose it could be original to the watch, I cannot know for sure, but it certainly suits this watch perfectly. It will accommodate a wrist of up to approximately 7 3/4. I think this is a really fantastic original vintage wristwatch with a military-issue history dating back to WW2 that still looks great on the wrist today!!
