WW II German Army Air Force 6x30 BINOCULARS & CASE VOIGTLANDER -RARE

  
These were brought back by a US Veteran at the end of the war. The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6x30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7x50, 8x30, 10x50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issued to personnel on a limited basis.

Made of brass and steel by ddx Voigtlander und Sohn A. These 6 x 30 power binoculars are in VERY NICE used condition! The lens bodies retain about 85% of their original paint and finish, as well as the faux-leather covering!

End piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustments still function, and the image is VERY CLEAR! Optical alignment is also perfect! The right side body is marked. Along with the serial number.

Indicating these have a ranging scale, which can be seen in the photos. Left side features the code ddx. As they are in used condition, there are some slight marks and scratches throughout. Neck strap is a post-war replacement. Made of bakelite, this case is original to this set, and comes complete with the original strap!

No cracks or damage that I can see. A VERY NICE example, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc. , as well as USAF and Japanese items.
