WW II German Army K98 Bayonet 1944/1945 M42 BAYONET FROG #4 LATE WAR

  

Made of leather, this riveted late-style M42 bayonet frog is in GOOD condition considering it's age. Made in 1944/45, there are some slight marks due to the age, but otherwise is in EXCELLENT condition! Some slight rust on the metal fittings and studs.

Ass the leather is VERY soft on this one, there is a slight tear at the stud hole opening. It does not go all the way through, but it is still quite fragile in this area. One will need to be careful when attaching to a bayonet.

One of the few late-war variants I have seen. Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc.
