WW II German Army Zündgerät CANNON FIRING BUTTON MOUNT TIGER HETZER RARE
Though this button was used in almost every Tank and Tank Destroyer, this was recovered from a Pz. VI "Tiger" wreck on the Eastern Front! The button that mounted to this, when pressed, would fire the main cannons mounted inside the tank or armoured vehicle. It was usually located at the side of the main gun. For easy access to the gunner. Made of aluminum and steel. This Cannon Firing Button Mount is in AMAZING relic condition! Some obvious marks and damage as it came from a wreck, but nothing that detracts. The base for the button itself is also present. Would make a FANTASTIC addition for those who have an original Firing Button! As the main retaining screw was rotted away, I had it re-made, copied directly off the original. RARER than the buttons themselves. I have indicated it's location in the last photos. PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
