For sale is a 100% original WWII German Wehrmacht M31 Feldflasche (canteen) complete with its aluminum drinking cup, wool cover, and full leather harness. This example is marked O. 41 on both the canteen body and the screw cap, confirming it was manufactured in 1941 by. 41 stamped on both neck and lid - not mismatched. Original aluminum body - dent-free, with honest field patina. Screw cap with chain - fully intact. Brown wool cover - with metal snaps, shows field wear and a few moth holes. Black-painted aluminum cup - marked "AEMA 38, " another wartime supplier (field-replaced, typical for long service). Full leather harness - original, with functional buckle and securing strap. Hook has stamp from inside: "HD 42". Wool cover shows wear, fading, and holes from age and use. Paint on cup is heavily worn, giving it authentic character. Leather is aged but not brittle - still holds together well. A combat-used and complete example, not a reproduction or restored set. This German M31 canteen was issued to soldiers of the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS throughout WWII.

Its 1941 production date places it right in the early years of the Eastern Front campaign. Having both parts stamped O. 41 confirms this is a factory-matched set - rarely preserved in such condition.
