WW2 German Army canteen with straps (H1 bin)

  

The back of the canteen marked D. P can't read last. I has an aluminum cap marked D. 36 The strap to the top is broken.

It came with a tan color strap arrangement. Two of the straps have metal tips marked "SHB".

There is a large metal hanger that is stamped "Patent Ritter". There is a short piece of leather, color is black, and it has a small buckle. That strap is about 4 inches.

I think when I pack the items I will pack the harness in a small box to try and protect the straps. Again, not an expert so feel free with comments.
