WWII German G&CL 39 1L Medical Canteen Complete Strap Bakelite Cup Cover Army

  

Original 1 liter WWII German medical canteen complete with strap, cup, cover, and canteen. The leather is intact and perhaps a bit dry, but I wasn't too afraid of opening the buckles, there is some cracking in the leather but I don't feel like anything was going to completely break. The cover is quite nice. The cap and canteen body are marked G&CL 39.

The cup is an original polopas (Bakelite) cup. Overall, I would say that it could use a little cleaning but it is a very nice lightly used example. If you were putting together a diorama or mannequin of a medic, this would be ideal for that purpose. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven't figured it out, so this is my best option at the moment. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog.
