A scarce example of the original Bakelite'Benutzer' ocular cover / rain guard of the type that were fitted to the early variants of 7x50 Kriegsmarine / U-boat binoculars produced by E. Leitz Wetzlar (BEH maker code).

This one also appears to have the original owner's name very lightly inscribed to the top surface, as shown.
