Original WWII German Made Mini Bullion US Army Europe Berlin District Patch DI

  

Available is a 100% original World War II Occupation period United States Army in Europe Berlin District mini patch or distinctive insignia. The beautiful bullion and embroidered patch was likely made in Germany. It measures approximately 1 ¾ inches tall and one inch wide. It comes on what appears to be a blue bevo background. While the rest of the patch is embroidered, "BERLIN DISTRICT" and the sword's handle are done in gold bullion.

The blade is done in silver bullion. The patch really pops from an aesthetic perspective. It does not glow under a black light. The patch is in excellent condition showing minimal age. It does not appear to have ever been sewn on a shirt of uniform. Please be sure to check out the large photos I have posted and judge condition for yourself.
