3x8°Scope, as used by various Anti-Aircraft Guns! This item was SPECIFICALLY used on the 2.0cm MG151/20 "Drilling" Anti-Aircraft Cannon!

This was mounted on the Sd. 251 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251) half-track was a World War II German armored personnel carrier designed by the Hanomag company, based on its earlier, unarmored Sd. 251 was designed to transport the Panzergrenadier (German mechanized infantry) into battle. 251s were the most widely produced German half-tracks of the war, with at least 15,252 vehicles and variants produced by seven manufacturers. The utility of this vehicle led the German Army to develop the similar looking but shorter and lighter Sd.

Some sources state that the Sd. German officers referred to them as SPW (Schützenpanzerwagen, or armored infantry vehicle) in their daily orders and memoirs. 251/21 was an anti-aircraft and ground support variant equipped with a triple-mount ("Drilling" in German means "triple") of MG151 autocannon; early version being MG151/15 mm cannon, later being MG151/20 mm Luftwaffe cannon, on a Kriegsmarine triple mount.

Strong firepower, especially when organized into platoons of 6 SPW. However, with a combined rate of fire of 2000 RPM, it could fire off its full load of 3000 rounds in just 90 seconds.

Made of steel by "jve" (Ernst Ludwig Optisches Werk, Weixdorf). This anti-tank rifle scope was manufactured between 1943 and 1945. Thought it has some slight surface marks and wear, it is 100% complete, with NO damage! The manufacture code and data information is stamped into the side, indicating.

Reticle is VERY interesting, and all optics are SUPERB! It comes with the original mount/base, as well as the attachment plate for a light source. I have shown its location in the last images.

An EXCELLENT and VERY RARE scope, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
